Sherwood Park Backyard Wedding
This backyard wedding in Sherwood Park celebrating Lauren and Tim in Alberta’s Canada was a beautiful rustic, simple outdoor wedding.
The bride wore a beautiful simple A line, high neck front, open back white lace dress from Novelle by designer Bhldn, and the groom was in a custom forest green 3 piece suit with a white shirt. The florals were breathtaking by Funky Petals and were a beautiful addition to this backyard minimalist wedding.
The wedding ceremony was in the groom's parents backyard that overlooked the neighboring farmers fields. We got some beautiful wedding day portraits in fields amongst the trees and grassy areas. The reception was also on the property that had a beautiful big fireplace. Tim and Lauren were married by their pastor who married Tim’s parents over 30 years ago. It was an intimate wedding and everyone had such a great time celebrating the bride and groom. Scroll below to see pictures of their day!
A backyard is such a great place to have an intimate wedding for close friends and family and this didn’t disappoint. If you are looking for a wedding photographer for your day, come find out more about having me along.
Tim and Lauren were such a beautiful couple, here is their proposal story from Lauren:
“We went away to Kananaskis for the weekend in February to try out the cross country ski trails and our new snow shoes. After about an hour of snowshoeing through the silent snow-fallen trail, Tim proposed a break on a log bench overlooking the snow covered tree tops. He got up to take in the view (so Lauren thought) but then turned around and knelt on one knee. (In full honesty I don't even remember what he said. I was SO SURPRISED! no idea it was coming.)”
